The Boat House
Restaurant is uniquely situated
on
the beach at Cornelian Bay,
Tasmania, just five minutes
from
Hobart’s city centre. The
Restaurant overlooks sailing boats in the
bay, the Tasman Bridge and the charming heritage listed boat sheds.

This elegant
and
contemporary venue has an open plan design with two walls of glass
doors opening onto the lawns. The design is split-level, this enables all
guests to have a view of the spectacular Derwent
River.

Leah and Dave Lamb opened the Boat House in November 1999, they have
earned an excellent
reputation for exceptional food and professional friendly service.
Chef/Owner, Dave Lamb’s
passion for food is unmistakable in his

The menu changes
seasonally, ensuring the freshest produce available.
Chef's specials change daily, featuring locally caught seafood eg;
scallops, blue eye trevalla, tuna, crayfish as well as game and other
Tasmanian specialties.
The Boat House can
cater up to 150 guests for a cocktail reception or
110 guests for lunch or dinner with the potential for larger numbers
with an attached marquee.
